Woodruff agreed to host the jamboree when Blue Ridge reported its playing field was underwater.
"Blue Ridge was down here last week playing a jamboree and saying how their field was underwater and they didn't know if they could pull it all together. We told them if it didn't work out maybe we could host it," Woodruff Athletic Director Scott Lawson said this morning.
"Everybody wanted to play. We were rained out in one jamboree, they only got the first game and a half in at the FCA and all these teams lost times playing against other teams.
"It's about the same distance for most to come to Woodruff than Blue Ridge," said Lawson.
Friday night’s schedule:
5:30 p.m. – Riverside vs. Chapman
6:30 p.m. – River Bluff vs. Landrum
7:30 p.m. – Blue Ridge vs. Woodmont
8:30 p.m. – Greer vs. Woodruff
