Joshua Edwards, 21, chemistry major, missed accountability checks since Thursday evening, according to school officials. A car belonging to Edwards was found Friday on East Ashley Avenue in Charleston, a public safety official reported.
Charleston police and county sheriff’s offices searched by boat and helicopter for any sign of Edwards.
