Tick Tock, Don’t Wait is not just a phrase for Trish Springfield, it is the way she lives her life. Whether speaking internationally during her career as a banking executive, racing dirt bikes or on the basketball court in college, Trish has always been ready for a challenge. Today, the 54-year-old is taking on her biggest challenge yet- Early Onset Alzheimer’s disease and the phrase Tick, Tock Don’t Wait has become especially true.
“I don’t know how much time I have,” Trish said. “We all have a measure of time. I am far more aware now that you don’t wait. If there is something you want to do, don’t wait until next month. Do it today because everyday is special. Everyday is important.”
Approximately six years ago, Trish began to notice changes in her cognition. Communication was a huge part of her job and she was increasingly losing her train of thought.
