Former Greer High School standout Troy Pride Jr. is working his way into earning playing time with Notre Dame.
Pride is a sophomore cornerback who broke into the starting rotation two weeks ago in a 49-14 win over Southern California two weeks ago.
Pride is battling three other cornerbacks ahead of him on this week’s depth chart.
He is a two-sport athlete, also running in the sprints – 60 meters, 100m and 200m. He plans to continue to run track in the spring while also playing spring football.
Notre Dame is ranked No. 3 in the College Football Playoffs poll.
Wake Forest plays at Notre Dame Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The game will be televised on NBC.
