Lunch will be served beginning at noon from ASADA food truck, and the conference will be from 1:30-7 pm.
This sold-out event will connect more than 200 local food producers (farmers,
food/drink artisans) and local food buyers (restaurants, caterers, schools). The idea to is help fuel the local food economy and support healthy, sustainable food and farming practices across the region.
The keynote speaker will be Will Harris of White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, Ga., a
fourth generation cattleman who made a decision to convert from traditional
industrial production on the farm back to the original grass-fed, pasture
based system of his great-grandfather.
A locally sourced happy hour will feature the region's finest ingredients prepared by chefs and students from the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas at Greenville Tech.
