Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 57 year-old, William Warren Smith, Jr. for Lewd Act on a Child under 14 years of age and Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor under 11 years of age.
Smith's home address is in Taylors.
Investigators initiated an investigation on Sept. 6 after information was brought forth indicating Smith was involved in incidents involving criminal sexual conduct that occurred between 1994 and 1995.
Smith was first arrested on Sept. 6 for Criminal Sexual Conduct and then again on Sept. 18 after additional information was provided, resulting in the charge of Lewd Act on a Child.
The incidents involved multiple victims. Smith is in the Greenville County Detention Center on no bond.
