The 28th Annual Village Hospital Greer Family Fest will honor veterans on Saturday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Greer City Park.
Veterans are invited to participate in a “Walk of Honor” through the park leading up to the main stage area. The Blue Ridge High School National Guard will escort the veterans through the park and will end with a presentation of the colors. Aaron Tippin will take the stage at 8 p.m.
“This festival is a great opportunity for us to honor those who have fought for our country,” said Allen Smith, President/CEO of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a great fit as Aaron Tippin is a tremendous advocate for the veterans. We are honored to be able to provide an avenue to recognize them.”
Veterans are invited to gather by the fountains in City Park at 7 p.m.
