Thanks to many friends and community supporters, the holiday season was merry for the students attending Washington Center.

The school was festive with decorations courtesy of the PTA. The Klaver Klub (a community sorority from Beck and Hughes Middle School) generously purchased gifts for every child.  Socks for every child were supplied by the Furman Heller Service Corps.

The pets from Carolina Dog Therapy team came dressed in their holiday attire.

Tracy Amick from the SC Children's Theater presented a rendition of Olive the Other Reindeer for classes, and Santa was enthusiastically sponsored by staff member Warren Bolos.

Refreshments for the annual Santa Arrival Party were provided by the Daughters of Penelope, a Washington Center tradition for more than 30 years.

Service Learning students from Christ Church Episcopal School were on hand to assist.
