Washington Center student Zachary Satterfield learns more about apples in Billy Chapman’s class as he makes a craft of an apple tree.
Students incorporated educational standards into fun, hands-on activities. The class has participated in activities to learn about the life cycle of an apple, sorting apple colors and learning why leaves change color in the fall. Students have made art projects to further understand the season’s changes, such as making leaf-rubbing colorings.
