Whalen drives Bonds Thunderbolt to second place finish

The US FIRST Robotics Team 3371 of the J.C. Harley Bonds Career Center, finished second at the South Carolina Robotics Invitational last weekend in Columbia.
David Whalen, a mechatronics student, drove the Bonds Thunderbolt.
"David gave an exceptional effort made even more impressive when you realize that this was the first time he ever drove the robot," Charles Zende, team advisor said. 
The next robotics team project will be to build a FIRST Tech Challenge robot for competition at the state tournament in January.
