When restaurant music turns to noise

My wife was diagnosed with vascular dementia with an emphasis on short term memory loss in 2020. We go out for lunch at a local restaurant almost every day.  

Which one we go to varies, according to what type of food my wife would like.  However, over the years I’ve noticed we spend fewer visits at the “in and out” restaurants and I finally realized it was due to the background music or, as my wife now describes it, irritating noise.  Loud noise tends to increase her level of frustration, especially during the afternoon.

As you can imagine, this will only grow worse or increase over time.  We still make our daily lunch pilgrimage, but now to fewer restaurants.
