Wild Ace Pizza and Pub may be brewing beer and serving it to customers by next month.
Denise VandenBerghe confirmed a brewpub license application has been filed for the restaurant at 103 Depot Street.
The license authorizes the sale of beer and wine, the manufacture of beer and the consumption of these products on the permitted premises.
“We are going to try to brew a beer of the month,” Denise stated.
By being granted a brewpub license Wild Ace will only be able to serve its on-site customers. “We will not be distributing our beers to other restaurants but selling in-house only,” Denise stated.
The brewpub license does not allow distribution. Brewpubs serve its beer as flights, in pints or growlers.
