Mya Machen, 20, is Miss Blue Ridge Foothills. She is a native of Fountain Inn and is an opera singer.
Mya will be participating with all the Miss South Carolina Pageant contestants Saturday and Sunday in a workshop that leads up to the June pageant.
The Miss South Carolina workshop weekend is scheduled Feb. 26-28 in Columbia.
