The Blue Ridge boys basketball team celebrated Senior Night last week. Digital Sports Editor Alex Love talked to the seniors about their career and offered advice to the underclassmen.
Greer earned the No. 3 seed in the Upstate Class AAAA state basketball playoffs beginning Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Yellow Jackets beat Blue Ridge, 70-57, in its final regular season game Thursday night.
Brandon Southern, a catcher with Blue Ridge High School, has signed to play baseball for Toccoa College in Toccoa, Ga.
Wednesday was the official signing day for athletes. Southern participated in a signing ceremony with teammate Elijah Henderson in the gymnasium with teammates, cheerleaders, senior classmates and his family.

Southern still has his senior season to play.
“I picked Toccoa to get a great education and have the opportunity to play there as a freshman,” Southern said.
