I am a Student Government Representative from Greer Middle College Charter High School. Our Spirit Week is quickly approaching, and we want to make sure the community is aware of the exciting events we have planned for the week.
Dr. Scott Turner will retire as Superintendent of The Spartanburg District Five Schools at the end of the 2018-19 school year. His retirement will come at the end of Turner’s 15th year as superintendent of District Five Schools.
The Board of Trustees received Turner’s letter official letter and announced his retirement.
North Greenville University will honor U.S. military veterans from the NGU Family as well as from across the Upstate on Monday, Oct. 29, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m,. at the Upcountry History Museum in Greenville.
Allison Yeater, a marketing major from Belpre, OH, was crowned queen for North Greenville University’s 2018 Homecoming on Oct. 13.
Four North Greenville University alumni and a friend of NGU were honored by the university’s alumni association at an awards ceremony Oct. 11 at the Cannon Centre in Greer.
Nathan Bramsen (’07), from North Africa, was named distinguished alumnus of the year; Justin Pitts (’07, M.B.A. ’12), from Greer, was awarded the alumnus of the year honor; Janice Alford (’98), from Greenville, was recognized with the president’s award; Carl Dukes (’12, M.Ed. ’14), from Little River, was honored as young alumnus of the year; and Bea Dillard, of Spartanburg, was named friend of the year.
