A 55+ Upstate Men’s Choir is being organized to promote the enjoyment of traditional men’s choir music to the public.
Men who have the ability to sing, match pitches, and blend within an assigned choral section are invited to join.
Rehearsals will offer options:
• Mondays 1:30 – 3 p.m., Ray Hopkins Senior Center, 203 Corn Road, Mauldin.
• Tuesdays First Presbyterian Church, 100 School Street, Greer.
Members must be present for 75 percent of scheduled rehearsals before a performance.
Members will be required to purchase a music packet and to bring it and a pencil for each rehearsal. The same music will be rehearsed at each of the two locations. Singers from the two rehearsal locations will be combined for several rehearsals prior to a scheduled performance.
