The Greer produced BMW X3, with its 32.3 percent increase in April sales, to 3,204 vehicles, (2,422 in April 2016) was a highlight in a slow month of BMW brand sales.
The X3 showed a 32.8 percent increase in year-to-date sales with 16,773 vehicles compared to 2016 with 12,533 vehicles sold.
• BMW brand sales decreased 9.3 percent, total of 22,464 vehicles (down from 24,951 vehicles sold in April 2016.
• Year-to-date, the BMW brand is down 1.3 percent in the U.S. on sales of 94,306 vehicles compared to 95,564 sold in the first four months of 2016.
• Total U.S. group sales declined 12.2 percent.
Other Greer-produced BMW models sales:
•X4 sales down 20.1 percent to 291 units compared to 364 in April 2016.
•X4 year-to-date sales down 35.8 percent (1,179 vehicles) compared to 2016 (1,837 vehicles)
• X5 sales down 9.8 percent to 3,400 vehicles compared to 3,771 in April 2016.
• X5 year-to-date sales increased 12 percent (15,472 vehicles) compared to 2016 (13,814 vehicles).
• X6 sales down 7.7 percent to 451 units in April compared to 608 in April 2016.
• X6 year-to-date sales down 7.2 percent (2,089 vehicles) compared to 2016 (2,252 vehicles).
