Haley Brammer was a double state champion for Bob Jones Academy in the state Speech and Debate competition. Brammer was first in Novice Reading and Prose Interpretation.

The BJA team was fourth overall and its coaches, Chuck and Gail Nicholas, were honored as the 1A Coaches of the Year.
