Black History gala scheduled Aug. 16 at Cannon Centre

A Black History gala is scheduled at the Cannon Centre, 204 Cannon Street, on Aug. 16 at 7 p.m.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres, a fashion show and dancing will be featured with proceeds from the $5 cost going toward the annual MLK luncheon in January.
