Yoan Moncada played his first year of professional baseball with the Greenville Drive last season.
Moncada, 20, has a stable of luxury cars that include the BMW X6M manufactured in Greer. He also took delivery of a black BMW i8 and white Lamborghini (Lambo HWA) on Thursday. Both of Moncada’s BMWs include a wide body kit.
Products made in Greer can now be certified as GreerMade (one word) in a Greer Chamber of Commerce initiative. BMW is a partner in the initiative.
Moncada has added some style to his vehicles, averaging about $35,000 per car.

Moncada signed a $31.5 million bonus as a 19-year-old who defected from Cuba and played his first season of professional baseball with the Greenville Drive last year as a second baseman.
Moncada is ranked No. 7 among prospects by MLB Pipeline. He is likely to open the season at high-A Salem with a mid-season promotion to Double A Portland if he continues his success.
The switch hitter batted .278 in 81 games with the Drive. He had 85 hits, 42 walks and 83 strikeouts.
