Carolina Treasures locates at Train Depot

Father-daughter are co-owners of antique and vintage shop

Published on Wednesday, December 12, 2012

Carolina Treasures has opened at 300-G Randall Street, at the former Train Depot. Will Yarborough and Shannon Moody, his daughter, are co-owners of the antique and vintage shop.

The store offers a selection of products that range from primitive to retro and covers an inventory of knickknacks to painted furniture. “If we don’t have it we can probably find it,” Yarborough said.

The lure of Greer’s historic district and easy in-and-out vehicle access convinced Yarborough to locate his store downtown. “I chose Greer because the downtown is a great place for people to meet and it is not pressed with traffic. What really interested me was the character and history of the town and the Depot.”

Carolina Treasures is open 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 9:30 a.m. –7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 12:30 p.m. – 5 on Sunday.  Call 864-590-2981.
