City now accepting entries for Freedom Blast mural competition
The City of Greer and Greer Cultural Arts Council announce The City of Greer 2013 Freedom Blast Mural Competition. 

This competition is open to any student artist living within a 35 mile radius of Greer. 

Each entry must be inspired by or represent a patriotic theme (i.e. military theme, July 4 activities, etc), and cannot have been entered in previous City of Greer art shows/contests. 
Students will be allowed to turn in as many pieces as he/she so chooses. The submission must be in full color (pencil or paint only) and must be submitted on 12" x 8" landscape (horizontal) paper (any other sizes submitted will be disqualified).

The City of Greer 2013 Freedom Blast Mural Competition Committee will serve as the final authority on eligibility. Contest is free to enter and cash prizes to be determined. 

Winning pieces will be sketched onto murals to be displayed at the City of Greer Freedom Blast at Greer City Park, June 29. 

Entries are due May 13-15 and must be dropped off at the City Hall business lobby between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
