Greer will host its annual Freedom Blast Saturday at City Park from 6-10 p.m. Admission is free.
Spartanburg based party band Back 9 will provide two sets of music sandwiched around festivities featuring army vehicles on display, Preston Johnson Veterans Walk honoring military who served, inflatables and crafts for children.
The fireworks, scheduled around 10 p.m. is the only display this weekend in the Upstate.
Food and drink vendors will be available.
