Tony Consolo of Riverside High School signed to play lacrosse at Belmont Abbey College.

Consolo was credited as a big reason for Riverside winning the Region II-AAAA tournament last year with his outstanding play.

"Tony dominated the face-off "X" during his junior year allowing our team to control the tempo of our games during the final games of the regular season and even into playoffs," said Zach Cummings, lacrosse coach.

"I always tell the team 'ground balls' win games and a face off is a glorified ground ball," Cummings said.
