Business leaders, attorneys, a municipal judge, a city councilman and others joined host, the Greer Police Department, in the Cops for Tots Charity Golf tournament Thursday.

The tournament at the Greer Country Club is the main fundraiser for the GPD. Proceeds are used to purchase gifts for under privileged children in need in the greater Greer area.

Toys, sports goods and games collected at the Syl Syl Toy Drive on Nov. 9 at the Clock restaurant on Poinsett Street is the official start of the annual event that helps more than 300 families.
