FM Global’s Peter Beshay congratulates Fire Chief Chris Harvey on receiving a fire prevention grant. Fire Marshal Scott Keeley (left) and Greer City Administrator Ed Driggers (right) were also present for the announcement.
The award will be used to assist with pre-fire planning, as the department is purchasing three iPads to mount in emergency response vehicles to collect and track data related to local buildings. The information will help the fire service respond in an emergency situation.
