Miss Clemson's Teen, Abigail Kate Fowler, won the Overall Teen Talent award and received a $500 scholarship in Wednesday’s Miss South Carolina pageant in Columbia. Fowler is a company dancer with International Ballet in Greer.

Wednesday's Miss South Carolina Pageant Wednesday preliminary winners.
Fowler performed a lyrical dance to “Never Enough” by Loren Allred from the feature-film, “The Greatest Showman“. Having won the Teen Evening Gown award on Tuesday evening, Fowler’s win Wednesday earned her the status of a double preliminary winner.
Fowler is a company dancer with International Ballet in Greer.
Winners in six categories were announced in Wednesday preliminary competition.
Miss Camden's Teen, Madison Knoerr, won the Rookie Talent award and received a $500 scholarship. She performed a gymnastics routine to “Beat It” and “Thriller" by Michael Jackson.
Miss Lakeland’s Teen, Margaret Turner, won the Teen Evening Gown award and received a $500 scholarship.
Miss Williamsburg County’s, Amanda Peterson, won the Miss Rookie Talent Award and received a $750 scholarship. She performed a contemporary/lyrical dance to “Lift Me Up” by Rihanna.
Miss Bridge City, Jada Samuel, won the Miss Evening Gown Award and received a $750 scholarship.
Miss Fountain Inn, Kennedi Jeter, won the Miss Talent Award and received a $750 Scholarship. She performed a dramatic monologue.
The Miss South Carolina 2023 Competition will continue with one additional preliminary round Thursday Miss South Carolina’s Teen will be crowned on Friday at 7 p.m. Miss South Carolina 2023 will be crowned live on WACH Fox TV on Saturday beginning at 8 p.m.
Miss South Carolina 2023 will receive a $60,000 scholarship and will compete for the title of Miss America. Miss South Carolina’s Teen 2023 will receive a $10,000 scholarship and will compete for the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen.
