Fright Night and Kids Comic-Con are scheduled at The Children’s Museum of the Upstate this weekend.
Middle School Fright Night is Friday from 7-9:30 with science experiment, costume contests and a dance contest recognizing the last contestant standing.
Events include:

• Costume Contest
• Dance Contest
• Prizes
• Photo Booth
• Mad Scientist Lab
• Creepy Creatures
The inaugural Kids Comic-Con invites children to dress up as their favorite comic book character. Local illustrators will teach children how to create their own animation.
Sessions are 10 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m.
