James Gregory, "The Funniest Man in America", will be at Grace Hall on Friday, Feb. 17.
Gregory is a comedic storyteller akin to listening to a friend, grinning and his shirt un-tucked with his arms outstretched, sharing his experiences.
James released his first album in 1990 on Sony, titled “It Could Be A Law, I Don't Know." His book, by the same name, was published by Sweetwater Press. He has appeared in concert with Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, Reba McEntire, The Judds, George Jones and Ricky Skaggs among others.
His “Grease, Gravy & John Wayne's Momma” was sponsored by HBO and featured at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. The same show had a month long run at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood.
Ticket prices for the 7:30 p.m. show are $28 reserved and $25 general admission. Call 864-848-0099 or visit funniestman.com.
Grace Hall is at 108 Trade Street.
