They dined, in classes, at Rivera’s, in the courtyard at Wild Ace Pizza and Pub, atop the roof at the Cazbah, BIN112, Great Bay Oyster House and other downtown restaurants. Reservations tonight were made by “Class of … “ instead of individuals. Many visited Acme General Store, the Shoppes at the Grapevine and walked downtown as one – one big reunion of Greer High School graduates, former students, friends and acquaintances.
The Davenport opened its doors to the alumnae and that place was rocking by mid-evening. Greer City Park was the final destination where the bulk of memories were shared, introductions to families, children and grandchildren.
Signs directed alums to their registration sites. Classes were grouped with small tables representing each of smaller classes.
By evening, mild temperatures and a made-to-order sunset over City Hall began an evening these alums will be talking about for an entire year – until next year’s All-Greer High School reunion that will include the class of 2012.
