The 2012 Miss Greater Greer and Miss Teen visited the Shriners Hospital for Children Wednesday. They met and posed for pictures with patients and hospital administrators and nurses.

The visit was special for Lauren Cabaniss, Miss Greater Greer, and Sydney Sill, Miss Greater Greer Teen. Cabaniss’ platform involves raising funds for children needing care and coincides with the Miss South Carolina Organization affiliation with the Children’s Miracle Network.

Sill’s platform is with the Shriners Hospital for Children in Greenville. She had two rods placed in her back when she had surgery as a 4-year-old. She was told she would never be able to dance again. You ought to see Sydney now. Her talent has been a high-energy dance in her Miss Teen competitions.
