The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce has been awarded the Grand Award in the category of Campaigns by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) for chambers with budgets under $1 million.
The Chamber was recognized for its GreerMade campaign, which was also named the Best campaign piece by the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE).
“We are excited for the Chamber to be recognized nationally, but more importantly we are excited to gain recognition for the companies that truly personify what is means to be GreerMade,” said Mark Owens, President/CEO.
Only nine chambers in the country were awarded a Grand Award, of which three were awarded to chambers with budgets under $1 million. The Greer Chamber will compete for the Best in Show award to be announced in August.
Launched in February, GreerMade is the only Greer based certification program for locally crafted products. It is meant for all that create, build or produce – from manufacturers to sole proprietors and everyone in between. The product can be big or small, handmade or mass produced.
