Alexander, an employee of FATZ since last year, has made a financial investment in the restaurant franchise and begins the first of his five-year agreement.
Alexander joined FATZ in Spartanburg in May 2012 as a service manager. He transferred to the Greer location and also spent time as general manager at one of Cafe Enterprises’ other restaurants, Tavern 24 on Woodruff Road in Greenville.
He is a graduate of Virginia Tech University with a degree in Economics.
“I enjoy all aspects of being a service manager and I’m excited to take on this new role,” said Alexander. “I want to ensure that every guest leaves with a dining experience that includes exceptional food and one-of-a-kind service. Greer is a close-knit town made up of wonderful people and I want to continue to give these people a restaurant that they can take pride in.”
“Ken has really accomplished a lot since joining FATZ Cafe. I have high hopes for him as an Operating Partner,” said Jim Balis, CEO of Cafe Enterprises headquartered in Taylors. “It’s always exciting to welcome a new member into the Operating Partner family and we’re excited to have Ken become part of this family. Ken will do great things in Greer and I look forward to watching his success.”
