Kaitlyn Adams is appearing for the second time in three years at the national event.

 

Kaitlyn Adams from Greer, placed third in the Varsity Intermediate over fences class at the Zone 4 Equestrian National competition.

Adams, on the Clear View Equestrian team, competed against riders from South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee.

The equestrian team is based out of Landrum.

Adams is among 21 riders in the country in her class who will travel to the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Va., to compete in the Hunt Seat Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) National Finals.

It’s the second time in three years Adams is appearing in the national event for the top competitive riders who compete in the IEA.
