Noah Hannon of Greer High School was a finalist in the 2016 Wendy’s High School Heisman Award.
Hannon was an All-State selection, finalist for Mr. Football and also was a national competitor for the school’s Virtual Enterprise team that traveled to New York.
Candace Jensen of Greer, who played volleyball, was the female selection.

Students must be proven leaders and role models within the school and community. They also must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better and participate in a sport recognized by the National Federation of State High School Associations. The top of the selections becomes state finalists with the national winner being selected from that group.
Frelicia Tucker of Aiken High School and Daniel Orcutt of Fort Walton Beach High School in Florida were selected the national winners.
