Rachel Henderson, of Eastside High School, earned the Foothills Scholarship at North Greenville University.
She was chosen to receive the scholarship on the basis of her academic achievement, school, church, and community involvement.
Henderson interviewed and competed for the scholarship during Scholarship Interview Day at North Greenville University on Feb. 26. With satisfactory academic progress, this scholarship will guarantee $48,000 over the course of four years of attendance at North Greenville University.
Henderson has been accepted into the Class of 2020 and plans to enroll in August. She is the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Henderson of Taylors.
