Joshua Waldun has been hired by Hollywild Animal Park to serve as Education/Outreach Coordinator.

Waldun will expand the non-profit animal park’s connection to area schools and community centers. A grant from the Spartanburg County Foundation made the expansion possible.

“We have been delighted to get to know “Mr. Joshua” this summer as he has worked to improve our Creature Feature Educational programs and look forward to the response from educators and community leaders as they make a connection with him. He has brought a great new energy to all we have going here,” Kim Atchley, Hollywild’s executive director, said.

Waldun came to the Upstate from Georgia where he served as a reptile specialist and educator. He has restyled the in-house educational programs offered at Hollywild and is lead coordinator for the park’s homeschool days on Fridays Sept.11 and 18 as well Owl-O-Ween, a seasonally themed education day on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Call Waldun at 864-472-2038 or email [email protected].
