The International Festival, held for the second year in a row, is scheduled Saturday at Greer City Park.
The Family Fest banners were posted around the city and park area and a banner the width of the Cannon Street entrance to Greer City Park announces Saturday’s International Festival.
The International Festival, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday will highlight about cultures who live and work in greater Greer. Athletic demonstrations and food vendors will reflect countries represented – Bermuda, Bolivia, China, Colombia, England, France, Haiti, India, Japan, Macedonia, Northern Island, Panama, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Senegal, South Korea and the U.S.
Crafts and activities will be available for the children. Entertainment will be at the amphitheater.
“Greer Goes Global is the theme for the juried art exhibition held at City Hall.
Three weeks after the International Festival is the Greer Family Fest, May 1-2, which also begins auditions for Greer Idol and Idol Teen.
Tunes in the Park and Moonlight Movies schedules have also been announced.
