The annual July 4 Greer Neighborhood Kids Parade Tuesday featured Greer Fire Chief Dorian Flowers as the Grand Marshal leading a large turnout.

The one-mile parade route included the Davenport and Arlington neighborhoods with children and parents, all decked out in their patriotic red, white and blue attire.

Neighbors sat in the shade and under trees, residents waived from their porches and at the end of the parade a snow cone stand greeted the kids.

But all the attention was on the kids on the warm, sunny morning.
