Mitsubishi Polyester Film aids Greer area charities

Mitsubishi Polyester Film, Inc., employees delivered a truck load of food and more than $5,200 to two Greer charities last week.

The Greer Soup Kitchen received $3,300, which included $1,650 from employees and a match from the company, as well as a pickup truck filled with food donations. Employees and the company also raised an additional $700 from a hunger walk for the Soup Kitchen in November.

In addition, employees raised $636 for the Taylors Free Medical Clinic. That figure was matched by Mitsubishi Polyester Film as well for $1,272 donated.

 “Mitsubishi Polyester Film and its employees are proud to give back to this wonderful community,” said Rose Marchek, the company’s human resources director.
