Bertha Mae Yates Forrester, 90, passed away January 26, 2023.

A native of, Pickens, S.C., daughter of the late Marvin E. and Harriett Sanders Yates, she was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Larry W. Forrester of the home; one daughter Teresa Lynn Oswalt of Greer; three grandchildren, James Lee Timmons, Amanda Dawn Cheatham, and Samantha Renee Rex (Jesse); and four great-grandchildren, Pearson Bradley Timmons (Sadie), Kaleb Michael White, Cameron Aric Rex, and Jackson Coleman Rex.

Mrs. Forrester was predeceased by one son, James Lloyd Timmons, one daughter, Martha Diane Timmons, and one granddaughter, April Marie Timmons.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2023, at Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Dr. Tim Wofford.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:30 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
