Curtis Ewell Clark, age 66 of Greer, S.C., passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Greenville, he was the son of the late Ewell J. and Doskie Clark.

He graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and was a loyal and enthusiastic Gamecock fan and supporter.

He was an employee of SynTerra Corporation and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where he served in various capacities through the years.

Curtis was endowed with a benevolent spirit and embraced life fully. He was an avid paddler, cyclist, world traveler, and nature enthusiast.

He supported many environmental causes and organizations bettering the lives of children internationally.

Above all, he was a loving husband and father and a devoted family member.


He was recently predeceased by his brother, Robert Clark, of Stone Mountain, Ga.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Clark; daughter, Caitlin Clark; sister, Penny Dotherow (Emmett, Heather, Wendy, Rocky); sister-in-law Marcia Clark (Mark, Melissa), Amy, Lisa (Billy); great-nieces Abigail and Avalyn; great-nephews Joshua, Harrison, Thomas, David (Teresa), and Tristan; and his Basenji ?puppy girl? Zem.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held in the sanctuary of Westminster Presbyterian Church (2310 Augusta Street) in Greenville) at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, followed by visitation in the church atrium.
