Daniel Phillip Green, 65, of 1754 Abner Creek Road, died November 24, 2014 at his home.
A native of Greer, son of the late Clark and Eunice Glenn Green, he was a retired employee of Hoechst Celanese, the retired owner of Pike's Sports Bar & Grill in Inman and a US Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Betsy Hammond Green of the home; one daughter, Tammy Bennefield of Moore; one son, Phillip Green of Greer; three step-sons, David Elswick of Campobello, Chris Amsler (Alma) of Waynesville, N.C., and Tim Amsler (Angela) of Inman and one step-daughter, Tanja Kaltwang (Scott) of Boiling Springs; one brother, Ted Green (Jane) of Greer; his favorite Aunt (Sug) Hemphill of Duncan; two grandchildren, Zachary Bennefield and Landon Green; thirteen step-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Russell Lindsey.
Visitation will be held 5:45-6:45 p.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
