David Holt Effler, Jr., 74, passed away February 23, 2022.

A native of Spartanburg, son of the late David Effler, Sr., and Bertie Abernathy Effler, he was a retired employee of Hoechst Celanese and a member of Lyman First Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Judy Elizabeth Barker Effler of the home; three daughters, Tara Morris (Benji) of Prosperity, Tina Schumacher (Gerald) of Roseville, Calif., and Jessica Tripan (Justin) of Spartanburg; one brother, Ryan Effler (Sherry) of Lyman; and four grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by one brother, Virgil Effler and two sisters, Earlene Burnett and Doris Sudduth.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Chaplain Bobby Gilbert.

Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary before the service. The family is at the home.
