John Dale Forrester, Sr., 71, passed away October 1, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Horace Franklin and Amelia Janet Morrow Forrester, he was the retired owner and operator of John D. Forrester Grading, which continues to operate under the direction of his son-in-law, Aaron,providing dependable service to the community.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Forrester McJunkin and David Aaron McJunkin of Taylors; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was also predeceased by one son, John Dale Forrester, Jr.

The family is at their respective homes.
