Juanita Howell Thorne Williams, 92, wife of the late Walter (Bud) Heyward
Thorne, and James Franklin Williams, passed away December 18, 2022.

A native of Greer, daughter of the late Gordon Conway and Lula Mae Scott Howell.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Thorne Settle, wife of her devoted son-in-law Allen Gibson Settle Jr., of Inman, and Pamela Thorne Peterson of Simpsonville; one brother, Gordon Howell, Jr. (Carol) of Marietta, Ga.; one
sister, Christine H. Seay of Blue Ridge; four grandchildren, Summer Scott
Settle, Lauren Peterson Rabiner (Nick), Kyle Carter Peterson, and Lisa Ann
Peterson; and one great grandson, Charlie James Rabiner.

Mrs. Williams was predeceased by one grandson, Allen Gibson Settle III.

Mrs. Williams and her family are eternally grateful for the devoted care and
attention given by All In Love Care, Sharia Henderson-Watson, Dawn Fabiano,
Lacey Allen, and Kim Ross.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at The Wood
Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Drew Hines. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:30 - 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at The
Wood Mortuary.
