Lawrence Roger Murray, 87, passed away June 4, 2017 at his home.

A native of Waterbury, Connecticut, he was a son of the late Marshall Mitchell and Mary Emily Sayah Murray.

Mr. Murray was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army Occupation.

He was a retired employee of General Motors and of the Catholic faith.

He was a member of the DAV, American Legion Post 214 of Taylors, South Carolina and long-time member of the BMW Motorcycle Club of America.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Maria Feldbusch Murray of the home; three daughters, Carmen Cronin of Auburn, Massachusetts, Gerlinda Pasquale of Leicester, Massachusetts and Lorraine LaBarge of Greer; seven grandchildren, Eric Murray, Michael Murray, Robert Cantara, Christina Pasquale, Jonathan Pasquale, Gerard LaBarge, Jr. and Renee Purcell; and three great-grandchildren, Christopher Purcell, Jr., Caitlin Purcell and Giovanni Pasquale.

Mr. Murray was predeceased by a son, Lawrence Roy Murray, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
