Margie Walker Smith, 79, passed away March 20, 2023.

A native of Greer, daughter of the late Thomas L. and Josie Boyter Walker, she was an administrative assistant for Ronnie Smith Builders, Inc. and a member of Praise Cathedral.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Ronnie J. Smith of the home; and one daughter, Tammie Boyter (David) of Moore; one grandchild, Wesley Nichols (Ashley); and one sister, Mary Brown (Jimmy).

Mrs. Smith was predeceased by three siblings, Betty Stroud, Ed Walker, and Ollie Walker.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Pastor Norman Black and Chaplain David Boyter.

Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 10 - 10:45 a.m. March 23, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be James Brown, Justin Walker, Tim Smith, David Sloan, Jerry Carlisle, and Wayne Gillespie.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the hospice team at Traditions Health for their compassionate care.
