Martha Giles Plumley, 85, died December 6, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Union County, daughter of the late Monroe and Ada James Giles, she was a retired employee of Startex Mills and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Brooks Plumley of the home; two daughters, Linda Long and Barbara Doss and her husband Harold all of Greenville; one son, Phil Plumley and his wife Lisa of Simpsonville; three sisters, Carolyn Harper of Enoree, Ruby Watson of Woodruff and Shirley Milbrook of Gray Court; six grandchildren, Victoria Laguiate, Chris Hall, Brook Parks, Gracie Plumley, Mary Faith Plumley and Benjamin Plumley and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Plumley was predeceased by one son, Brooks Lamot Plumley, five brothers, Charles, Elbert, Leon, Jerry and Olin Giles and two sisters, Helen Samples and Betty Whitman.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Tom Burns. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Baptist Church.
