Mary Ethel Ridings Cantrell, 82, widow of Thomas James Cantrell, passed away on June 13, 2017.

A native of Rutherford County, N.C., daughter of the late Will Tommy and Mary Bertha Rowe Ridings, she was a homemaker and a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one son, Ray Cantrell of Lyman; one daughter, Teresa Kelley (Dan) of Greer; one brother, Aldon Ridings of Asheville; one sister, Earleen Cantrell of Lyman; one ex son-in-law, Tim Carver five grandchildren, Brandy Cantrell (Stephanie), Amanda Ellison (Daniel), Seth Cantrell, Austin Carver (Tiffany) and Andrew Carver; five great-grandchildren, Kyli, Camron, Kaitlyn, Kade and Brailyn and a special niece, Mary Jo Henderson.

Mrs. Cantrell was predeceased by two daughters, Becky Kirby and Amy Cantrell Carver.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Ansel Norris. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
